Multiple vehicle accidents reported as some roadways covered in water

Multiple local events have been cancelled and several accidencts have been reported in north Mississippi as roads are covered in water from the deluge of rain today, including freezing rain.

While large segments of North MS are under a flood watch, multiple accidents across the area are being reported.

A pair of accidents have been reported on Highway 15 South from the Tippah County line into Pontotoc.

There has also been a vehicle accident reported on Highway 2 between Blue Mountain and Hickory Flat.
