National Weather Service warns of snow accumulation, single digit wind chill
The National Weather service along with MEMA is issuing warning about artic air and rain turning to snow next week.
According to the NWS:
Arctic air will settle over the Mid-South behind a cold front late Monday afternoon into Monday Night. Rain will change over to snow. Please continue to monitor upcoming forecasts as uncertainty remains with the accumulations of the snowfall.
Wind chill values may drop into the single digits during the overnight and early morning hours Tuesday through Thursday. Some locations may experience wind chill readings near zero degrees, mainly early Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
