Painted rock travels nearly 400 miles and winds up mysteriously at Ripley business
A mysterious, painted rock showed up at a Ripley business six months ago. Who put it there and why is anybody’s guess.
Six months ago the staff at Hill Dental Clinic in Ripley found a unique object in their parking lot: a painted rock. After some internet research and an unsuccessful attempt to find out why, the rock sat on a shelf, forgotten.
Until today.
Staff members found that the rocks had been spread out all over the country, as far away as California, in a project by Gulf Shores Elementary in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
The purpose? Put a smile on peoples faces.
You can see more about the different places rocks have been found at the Gulf shores elementary rocks Facebook page.
