Pine Grove School moving junior high and high school students to virtual learning

Pine Grove school is moving their junior high and high school students to virtual learning only as a result of large amount of students currently in quarantine.

The students will be quarantined starting August 16th for two weeks.

This only affect students in the 7th-12th grade.

This comes as Mississippi has had the two largest number of positive cases since the pandemic began this week.

Earlier this week, South Tippah School issued a mask mandate for all students.

That mandate will be reevaluated later this year.

Here is the release on the mask mandate.

We will update this story as more information becomes available.
