Special weather statement for Tippah County as temps to drop 30-40 degrees

The National Weather service has issued a special weather statement for Tippah County as temps will drop 30-40 degrees.

There is also a possibility of cold rain mixed with sleet and snow.

From the NWS:

A strong cold front will move across the Midsouth tonight.
Temperatures are expected to drop 30-40 degrees and remain in the
mid 30s during the day Tuesday. Cold rain will likely mix with
sleet and snow, possibly changing between rain and wintry
precipitation multiple times tonight into Tuesday. Some minor
accumulation is possible, though warm ground temperatures should
help limit accumulation on roadways.
