Three dead in Alcorn county house fire, State Fire Marshal issues warning
Three people have died in an Alcorn County house fire according to officials with the fire department in Alcorn County.
This comes after the Mississippi State Fire Marshall issued the following warning about using space heaters:
Using a space heater to keep warm today? Keep things that can burn, such as paper, bedding or furniture at least 3 feet away from heating equipment.
No determination for the Alcorn County fire has been given and the people who lost their lives names have not been released. The fire took place near Rienzi on CR 540.
