Tippah Animal Rescue has successful fundraiser thanks to community involvement
The Animal Foster and Rescue of Tippah county had their largest and most successful fundraiser to date thanks to the help of numerous volunteers and a huge turnout from the local community.
The group had over 20 volunteers show up on Saturday for a fundraiser event held at Ripley’s Market. They grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, had a bake sale, a doggy kissing booth and had foster animals on site for adoption.
All together over 300 people in the local community stopped by, bought something or made donations to the rescues efforts.
“We are so appreciative of the support we had on Saturday. We cannot continue to assist animals without the support of our local community who see’s the need for help for the animals in our area. We will forever be grateful to everyone who showed up, volunteered, bought anything or just gave us words of encouragement. We would also like to offer a special thanks to Jason Fryar, the manager of Ripley’s Market, for all of his help and letting us set up at the Market,” Animal Rescue spokesperson Kayla Myers said.
Since being formed in 2018, the rescue has helped place over 200 homeless local animals. You can see more about their efforts BY FOLLOWING THIS LINK
