Walmart to stop selling all e-cigarettes and vaping products

The worlds largest retailer will stop selling e-cigarette and vaping products, according to a memo given to store managers.

This comes after the first case of a vaping related illness and possible death was reported in Mississippi recently.

According to the memo, first reported by CNBC:

“Given the growing federal, state and local regulatory complexity and uncertainty regarding e-cigarettes, we plan to discontinue the sale of electronic nicotine delivery products at all Walmart and Sam’s Club U.S. locations,” the company said in a memo to local managers. “We will complete our exit after selling through current inventory.”
