Tippah County Circuit Clerk Election appears headed to runoff

The Tippah County Circuit Clerk election appears headed to a runoff.

according to unofficial returns issued at 1 am, the breakdown of votes showed that no one candidate got at least 50% of the vote.

There are roughly 400 votes to be counted to determine who will be in a runoff for circuit clerk. The Resolution Board will look at write in votes that it couldn’t be determined last night whose name it was.
