The Mississippi Department of Corrections is asking for the publics help locating a man who escaped their custody, according to a release from the agency on Monday.

Help MDOC find Daniel W. Barnes.
Barnes, 32, was convicted of Possession of Controlled Substance in Hinds County in May 2016. He was sentenced to 2 years to serve with 2 years of probation.
Barnes, #147706, has been assigned to the Hinds County Restitution Center.
