Ripley boys use dominating first quarter to take out Walnut in hoops action

Ripley boys have developed a calling card under head coach Adam Kirk: tenacious defense and a relentless attacking style on offense.

Those qualities were in full display in their Friday night matchup against Walnut.

The Tigers jumped out to a 22-2 first quarter lead and cruised to a 63-25 victory to remain undefeated on the year.

Ripley is at home on Tuesday against Booneville in a marquee area matchup.

Walnut takes on one of the top 1A teams in the area in Potts camp on Tuesday.
