Tippah County getting over $1.5 million for emergency road repairs

Tippah County is getting over $1.5 million for emergency road and bridge repairs as part of 163 projects being funded by MDOT.

According to MDOT, the following projects are being funded in Tippah County:

In Tippah County there will be a project funded for Braddocks Store‐Peoples Road (County Road 200) in the amount of $716,470.00

In Tippah County there will be a project funded on County Road 543 in the amount of $860,410.00.

In total, the state will be funding $250 million in projects for emergency road and bridge repair. There are other projects in the area, including Prentiss County and Alcorn County
