Ole Miss and No. 2 Georgia will play at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford on Nov. 7 with kickoff scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT; the game is being framed as a heavyweight SEC matchup with playoff implications.
SuperTalk Mississippi reported on Nov. 6, 2026 that Ole Miss enters the game 6-2 (4-2 SEC) and Georgia is 7-1 (5-1 SEC), and that the matchup could affect each team’s College Football Playoff résumé.
Broadcast information from SuperTalk Mississippi says the game will air on ABC. Radio coverage will be carried on participating SuperTalk Mississippi stations; fans can locate a station through SuperTalk Mississippi’s station finder or listen via the SuperTalk app (Apple App Store and Google Play), the outlet says.
The outlet cited an SEC player availability report dated Nov. 6, 2026 for its injury information. Georgia listed outside linebacker Amaris Williams as out for the game. Ole Miss will be without running back Kewan Lacy for a second straight game after a shoulder injury suffered Oct. 24 and will also be without defensive back Edwin Joseph for a fourth consecutive game. Linebacker Keaton Thomas and defensive end Kam Franklin were listed as questionable but were expected to play, SuperTalk Mississippi reported.
SuperTalk Mississippi’s closer look section noted Ole Miss is 25-1 since Pete Golding joined the staff in 2023, including a home win over Georgia in 2024, and said Georgia has not won at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium with Kirby Smart as head coach. The outlet listed Georgia’s rushing defense at No. 9 in the FBS, allowing 86 yards per game, and said Ole Miss averages 282.1 passing yards per game.
Individual statistics cited by SuperTalk Mississippi included Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss with 2,189 passing yards and 18 touchdowns, defensive end Blake Purchase with 4.5 sacks and two forced fumbles, and Georgia’s backfield totaling 942 yards and nine touchdowns among three running backs, with Dwight Phillips Jr. averaging 7.5 yards per carry.
