The NWS in Memphis has most of NE MS under a marginal risk of severe weather for the weekend on Saturday.
From the NWS:
There is a Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms on Saturday afternoon into early evening over north central and northeast Mississippi. Damaging winds will be the main threat. Large hail will be a secondary threat.
Strong north winds behind a cold front may reach advisory level Saturday late afternoon and evening. Subfreezing temperatures and frost formation will be possible early Monday morning.
