Northeast Mississippi Community College said it is enrolling students in a new Aerospace Fabrication and Assembly program that begins with an introductory course July 6 and offers free training at its Corinth campus.

Northeast Health Sciences says 98% of its graduates are employed in their field. The school says its programs prepare students for careers employers are hiring for.

Leaders from Northeast Mississippi Community College met with staff in a Washington office to highlight the college’s workforce training programs, the office said.

Organizers say the internship program helps marketing students graduate with professional portfolios, industry connections and careers, with recent placements at Ole Miss Athletics and other Mississippi organizations.

Northeast said its Certified Nurse Aide training program provides affordable tuition, evening classes and hands-on clinical experience. Seats are limited and applicants may apply online.

Hago Automotive said 13 employees at its Iuka plant completed leadership training as part of the company’s effort to develop its workforce in Tishomingo County.
