Iota Zeta President Anna Slack and Vice President of Service Elena Renfrow said the chapter’s College Project focused on upgrading campus spaces and building student leadership as PTK Awareness Week ended.

The Kossuth National Champion Cheer Team was honored at Northeast Mississippi Community College with a surprise shopping spree and recognition during a basketball game.

Northeast Mississippi Community College is recruiting graduating high school seniors and current students to fill lifeguard positions. Applicants must be certified or willing to earn certification, the college said.

Northeast Mississippi Community College said its softball team rose from unranked in the NJCAA preseason poll to No. 14 in the NJCAA’s first regular-season poll. The Tigers will host doubleheaders Friday and Saturday at The Plex.

Northeast Mississippi Community College is accepting early applications for its Associate Degree Nursing program, the college said. Eligible current and dual-enrolled students must apply by March 6.
