Northeast Mississippi Community College students win awards at State Art Show
Jamyla Elliott and Graceyn Smith of Northeast Mississippi Community College received top awards at the State Art Show hosted by East Mississippi Community College in Scooba.
Elliott took first place in photography for her piece titled “Self-Reflection,” while Smith earned second place in photography for “Green Converse,” according to college officials.
The college expressed pride in the students’ achievements, highlighting their talent and creativity on a statewide platform. Officials said the awards demonstrate a bright future for Northeast’s art program.
