Authorities arrested a 23-year-old Tupelo man and charged him with burglary and credit card fraud after multiple vehicles and a residence were reported broken into, officials said.

Madison Garrett, an education major at BMCU, received the 2026 Linda Anglin Teacher Preparation Scholarship from Mississippi Professional Educators, the university said. The award includes $500 and a complimentary first-year MPE membership.
