Toys for Tots Hardeman County Applications Due Oct. 31

Families in Hardeman County who need help with Christmas this year have until Saturday, Oct. 31 to apply for Toys for Tots in Hardeman County. The Mid-South Toys for Tots campaign is accepting applications online only, for children from newborn to 12 years old.

The campaign serves families across the Mid-South, including Middleton, Bolivar and the rest of Hardeman County, according to The Magnolia Post.

How to Apply for Toys for Tots in Hardeman County

Donations for the Christmas 2026 campaign will be accepted through Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2026. Donated toys are stored and sorted at a warehouse in Memphis before they are handed out to children.

A 20-Year Volunteer Leads the Local Effort

Nikki Williams, who marked 20 years with Toys for Tots on Sept. 15, 2026, has spent 13 of those years as a volunteer and seven as assistant coordinator. She told The Magnolia Post that the work starts well before the holidays, with calls to sponsors, events to raise money and getting the warehouse ready for donations.

Williams said she has seen families struggle just to put food on the table, and seeing their reaction when they receive toys keeps her motivated. She described the children’s hugs as what keeps her going.

She also thanked Vickie Walton of the Hardeman County Chamber of Commerce for her help this year.

How to Help

Williams noted that donations designated for Hardeman County benefit families in the county. People can support the campaign by:

  • Giving money as a sponsor
  • Collecting new, unwrapped toys through a business, church, school or civic group
  • Hosting a fundraiser or supporting Mid-South Toys for Tots events

Key Dates to Remember

  • Oct. 31, 2026 (midnight): Deadline for families to submit the online toy request
  • Dec. 15, 2026: Last day donations are accepted for the Christmas 2026 campaign

Families should apply as early as possible, since only online applications are being accepted this year. Anyone without internet access at home can use a computer at the Bolivar-Hardeman County Library or ask a friend or family member for help filling out the form before the deadline.
