Officials seek help identifying Mooreville theft suspect
Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi and the Lee County Sheriff’s Department said they are asking the public to help identify an individual shown in a photograph that is linked to a theft in the Mooreville area.
The agencies asked anyone with information to download the P3 Tip app and submit an anonymous tip through the app, Crime Stoppers said. Crime Stoppers said it will pay up to $2,000 for a tip that leads to an arrest.
Crime Stoppers said it does not want tipsters’ names, only information. The organization also said its 800 number is temporarily down and urged people to use the P3 Tip app instead.
Crime Stoppers and the Lee County Sheriff’s Department did not provide further details about the theft or the person in the photograph, the agencies said.
