Registration opens for 22nd annual Blue Steel Challenge in Mississippi

Registration is open for the 22nd annual Blue Steel Challenge, Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi said. The event is scheduled for Oct. 10, 2026, at the North Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Center.

Crime Stoppers said registration for competition events is limited to law enforcement officers. Reserve, auxiliary and retired officers may participate if they present agency credentials.

This year’s program will include handgun, shotgun, patrol rifle and obstacle course competitions, along with trophies, prizes and giveaways, the organization said.

The group said a flyer contains registration instructions, event details and pricing. Organizers said they look forward to another year supporting Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi.
