Booneville fifth-graders visited the Plex at Northeast Mississippi Community College and participated in game-day activities, the college said in a post.
The students threw out the first pitch, sang the National Anthem and helped as bat boys and bat girls during the game, the college said.
The college said the visit reminded staff why they do the work and that they enjoyed hosting the young visitors.
The college said it looks forward to seeing the same students return to the Plex one day wearing the black and gold.
