U.S. military says two killed in eastern Pacific boat strike
The U.S. military said Monday it carried out a strike on a boat in the eastern Pacific Ocean that killed two men it identified as “narco-terrorists,” U.S. Southern Command said on the social platform X.
U.S. Southern Command (Southcom) wrote that “at the direction” of its commander, Gen. Francis L. Donovan, Joint Task Force Southern Spear “conducted a lethal kinetic strike” on the boat, according to the post.
Southcom identified the two deceased as male “narco-terrorists.” The command did not provide additional details in the post.
