Rep. Robert Garcia, D-Calif., on Monday threatened former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi with contempt of Congress, a day before her scheduled deposition with the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Garcia said.
Bondi was scheduled to be deposed Tuesday by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which is investigating the Jeffrey Epstein case, according to the committee.
Garcia said the committee’s subpoena was bipartisan and insisted Bondi appear as ordered. He warned of contempt if she did not comply, Garcia said.
