Northeast Mississippi Community College urged fans to bring the energy from a pep rally to Tiger Stadium for the home opener against East Central, the college said in a social media post.
The college posted a schedule that begins with a presidential tailgate at 5 p.m. on Ramsey Lawn and culminates with a 6:30 p.m. kickoff against East Central.
The full schedule listed by the college included a 5 p.m. presidential tailgate on Ramsey Lawn; a 6 p.m. football sophomore recognition in Tiger Stadium; a 6:10 p.m. pavilion dedication; a 6:15 p.m. performance by the Showband from Tigerland; and a 6:30 p.m. kickoff.
The college said it held a pep rally earlier in the day and invited fans to attend events at Tiger Stadium.
