WJTV to profile I-20/I-55 ‘Big Fix’ highway project this fall, MDOT says

The Mississippi Department of Transportation said WJTV 12 News will profile the I-20/I-55 Freight Corridors Improvement Project, known as the Big Fix, starting this fall.

The department said the project will provide major upgrades to central Mississippi’s most heavily traveled corridor. Officials described the work as a significant effort to improve freight movement and safety.

MDOT directed residents to GoMDOT.com/TheBigFix for more information about the planned work, the department said.

In a statement, the department said it appreciated WJTV’s coverage of the project as planning and outreach continue.
