BMCU School of Education Earns CAEP Accreditation

The BMCU School of Education has earned accreditation from the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation, the school announced Monday.

The university said the designation recognizes the quality, rigor and impact of its educator preparation programs. The school called the accreditation national recognition of its work.

BMCU credited the achievement to faculty dedication, the efforts of teacher candidates and partnerships with local schools, the announcement said.

“Our graduates are prepared to lead from day one,” the school said, adding that the accreditation confirms that readiness and that the School of Education will continue to grow and improve.
