Burnside Music Fest lineup announced for June 6 in Ripley

Organizers announced the lineup for the Burnside Music Fest on Saturday, June 6, in Historic Downtown Ripley. They said the event will celebrate the legacy of blues musician R.L. Burnside.

Organizers said activities will begin at noon, with vendors, food trucks and a rib cookoff kicking off at that time. Live music is scheduled to start at 2 p.m., organizers said.

Organizers said the lineup includes Kody Shade Harrell, Pistol and the Queen, The Pip Project, Titus Gillard, Cedric Burnside, Lena Beach and Boo Mitchell, Garry Burnside and a jam session to close the night.

Organizers encouraged attendees to bring chairs and make plans to spend the day in downtown Ripley. They described the festival as a full day of music, food and vendors honoring R.L. Burnside’s legacy.
