Organizers of the Burnside Music Fest said they will hold a rib and chicken wing cook-off on June 6 in historic downtown Ripley, promising live music and a day of community competition.
Organizers said the rib entry fee is $100 and the chicken wing entry fee is $50. Prizes will be awarded in both categories, organizers said.
Only wood smokers will be considered for judging, organizers said. Contestants may pick up their entries any time after 8 a.m. at Freemans & Co., organizers added.
