Cold night in lower to middle 40s; temperatures to moderate this week

Forecasters say below-normal temperatures, mainly in the lower to middle 40s, are expected tonight.

Temperatures are expected to moderate for the remainder of the week, the forecast said.

Low rain chances of 15 to 30 percent are expected to return west of the Mississippi River toward next weekend, forecasters said.
