As of 8 a.m. Wednesday, reports indicate ice on state-maintained roads and bridges in seven Mississippi counties, according to the Mississippi Department of Transportation.

The affected counties are Benton, Bolivar, Coahoma, DeSoto, Marshall, Panola, and Tate. Drivers are advised to exercise extra caution while traveling in these areas.
