MDOT: U.S. 82 east entrance, Lee Stokes Road exit ramp to close for paving

The Mississippi Department of Transportation said the entrance to U.S. 82 east and the exit ramp to Lee Stokes Road in Lowndes County will be closed from 7 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, to 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, for paving.

MDOT said message boards have been placed to warn drivers of the closure. The agency advised motorists to seek alternate routes during the temporary shutdown.
