Mississippi to launch ConnectEBT app with new SNAP security features
The Mississippi Department of Human Services will launch the ConnectEBT mobile app for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, clients on June 11, 2026, the agency said.
MDHS said client EBT cards will be automatically set to block online and out-of-state purchases when the app launches.
The agency said the app will give clients access to three security features they can manage within ConnectEBT, and that additional tools will be available through the app.
MDHS posted details and guidance about the changes on its website at https://www.mdhs.ms.gov/help/snap/upcoming-snap-updates/, the agency said.
