Road crews will begin nightly work Monday, June 1, on Second Street and Highway 145, the Police Department said. Work will take place between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. from North Second Street at Chambers to South Second Street at Cedar Drive, and milling and paving operations will occur on Highway 145. The department said the project is expected to last three to four weeks.
The Police Department urged motorists to use extreme caution, expect possible delays and remain alert for workers and equipment, the department said.
The department said it appreciates motorists’ patience and cooperation as crews work to improve the roadways.
