Summer isn’t over yet, the National Weather Service in Memphis said, warning that highs will return to the upper 90s to lower 100s tomorrow.
The NWS Memphis office said residents should prepare for another day of hot conditions.
The agency urged people to continue practicing heat safety tips, including “Look before you lock,” staying hydrated, wearing light-colored clothing and taking frequent breaks in the shade or air conditioning.
The National Weather Service in Memphis said following those precautions can help reduce heat-related risks as high temperatures return.
