Forecasters said showers and thunderstorms will move through early Wednesday morning, and some storms could be strong to severe.
They said there is uncertainty about whether a cluster of storms will hold together. Residents were urged to monitor the latest forecasts and updates, forecasters said.
Heavy rainfall is also a concern because soils are already heavily saturated, forecasters said.
Forecasters advised people to stay tuned to local weather information for any changes to the forecast.
