A social media post that used the hashtags #MShwys and #DriveSmartMS urged drivers to use their turn signals rather than rely on gestures, the post said.
The post included the phrase “Uniform, Yankee, Bravo (Use Your Blinkers),” and told readers to give “just a flick of a wrist,” the message said.
It used playful language and emojis to chastise drivers who perform other tasks behind the wheel, saying some people were doing “heavier lifts” or even singing while driving, the post said.
The post closed with calls to “Share The Road” and drive smart, using the hashtags #ShareTheRoad and #DriveSmartMS, the message said.
