Social post warns drivers not to apply makeup while driving on National Lipstick Day

A social media post marking National Lipstick Day warned drivers not to apply makeup behind the wheel, calling the practice distracted driving and saying a quick “touch-up” can lead to a tow, the post said.

The message said, “Your beauty routine should stop when the engine starts,” and urged motorists to “give the road your flawless focus, and arrive alive.””>

The post included the hashtags #NationalLipstickDay, #GRWM, #DriveSmartMS and #JustDrive.

The message framed touching up cosmetics while driving as a safety risk and urged drivers to wait until they are parked before applying makeup, the post said.
