Aerospace contractor investing $8 million in north MS plant, creating 40 jobs

Aerospace contractor Northrup Grumman is investing over $8 million into their facility in North Mississippi, creating an additional 40 jobs, according to U.S. Representative Trent Kelly.

Northrop Grumman Corporation has announced an $8.3 million plant expansion, creating 40 jobs at the company’s Iuka facility. This investment is a testament to Mississippi’s outstanding workforce and the important role Mississippi plays in U.S. aerospace capabilities.

Since opening in 1998, Northrop Grumman’s Iuka manufacturing plant has produced 542 large composite structures supporting 128 United Launch Alliance (ULA) launches.

The Iuka facility has grown to occupy 320,000 square feet and is home to more than 150 employees currently, before this expansion.

Northrop Grumman is a leading global security company providing innovative systems, products and solutions in autonomous systems, cyber, C4ISR, space, strike, and logistics and modernization to customers worldwide.
