Byram Police Seek Public Assistance in Locating a Felony Shoplifter
Byram, MS – July 2,2024
According to the Byram Police Department:
On July 1, 2024, Byram Police Officers were alerted by the Walmart Asset Protection Team in Byram, MS, regarding a vehicle that had just left the store after shoplifting several items. Officers intercepted the vehicle at a nearby fireworks stand and identified the driver as Sheneqia Harvey. Inside the vehicle, officers discovered over $1,900 worth of stolen merchandise from Walmart.
Further investigation led detectives to identify a second suspect, Deneshia Harvey, as known as “Lit Bit”, who had fled the scene when officers approached Sheneqia. The duo is linked to multiple shoplifting incidents in the area and Deneshia Harvey has an outstanding felony warrant with the Byram Police Department for felony shoplifting.
