Coach Brian O’Connor joined SportsTalk Mississippi after a frustrating weekend for Mississippi State and spoke with host Brian Hadad about the team’s performance, Hadad said.
Hadad said Mississippi State started well against Auburn but back-to-back defeats have the Bulldogs “very much on the bubble” when it comes to hosting a regional in the NCAA Tournament.
O’Connor discussed the weekend’s setbacks and the team’s areas for improvement during the interview, Hadad said.
The conversation was part of SportsTalk Mississippi’s coverage of the Bulldogs’ season, Hadad said.
