President Donald Trump told CBS News exclusively on Monday that he wants to suspend the federal gas tax to give Americans relief at the pump as the war with Iran continues, CBS News senior White House and political correspondent Ed O’Keefe reported.
Trump made the comments in an exclusive interview, according to O’Keefe, who said the proposal was presented as a way to ease costs for motorists.
