CPKC holiday train to stop in Meridian, Jackson and Vicksburg Dec. 1–2, 2026

Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) will bring its holiday train to Mississippi with stops in Meridian and Jackson on Dec. 1, 2026, and Vicksburg on Dec. 2, the SuperTalk Mississippi website reported. The train’s visits include free concerts and fundraising for local food banks.

SuperTalk Mississippi said CPKC uses the holiday train tours to raise money, collect food and increase awareness for local food banks. The rail company donates to the local food shelf at each stop and encourages attendees to give to those in need.

Scheduled Mississippi stops and locations listed by SuperTalk Mississippi are:

• Meridian — Dec. 1, 2026, at 1805 Front Street, park adjacent to the Meridian Railroad Museum and Union Station.

• Jackson — Dec. 1, 2026, at 360 Industrial Park Drive, the old Jackson intermodal yard.

• Vicksburg — Dec. 2, 2026, at 1001 Levee Street at Grove Street, next to the Old Depot Museum.

SuperTalk Mississippi also listed special music guests for the Mississippi stops, including country singer Chase Rice and folk-pop performer Madeline Edwards. Professional musicians perform free concerts from the train’s decorated stage, and the event is free to attend, the report said.
