A drier air mass moving across Mississippi on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026, will reduce humidity statewide and bring mostly sunny skies with highs at or just above normal, SuperTalk Mississippi reported.
Northern Mississippi: Mostly sunny Thursday with a high near 90. Thursday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 68, according to SuperTalk Mississippi.
Central Mississippi: Mostly sunny Thursday with highs in the low 90s. Thursday night will be partly cloudy with lows in the upper 60s, the forecast says.
Southern Mississippi: Mostly sunny Thursday with a slight chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms and a high near 90. Thursday night is expected to be clear with possible showers and thunderstorms and lows in the lower 70s, SuperTalk Mississippi reported.
SuperTalk Mississippi also said the drier air will bring cooler lows into next week.
