Former Rep. Nick Bain Announces Run for Mississippi State Auditor, Promises Fraud Probe
Nick Bain, a Republican and former Mississippi state representative from Corinth, announced Monday that he will run for Mississippi state auditor in 2027, the Mississippi Free Press reported.
Bain said he will investigate public officials for fraud if elected, the report said.
The Mississippi Free Press published the announcement Monday on its website, saying Bain launched his campaign from Corinth.
The report identified Bain as a former member of the Mississippi House and described his party affiliation as Republican.
