JTRAN contract talks stalled, union says

Contract talks between JTRAN union workers and the company that operates the transit system remained at a standstill as of July 3, 2026, WJTV reported.

Charles Tornes, president of JTRAN’s Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1208, said both sides met on June 27 and negotiated into the early morning hours of June 28, 2026.

Tornes told WJTV the negotiations produced no resolution and the talks were stalled as of the July 3 report.

WJTV reported those details citing Tornes. No additional information about future talks was provided in the report.
