Leaked audio suggests Biden discussed classified info with ghostwriter before presidency

Audio recordings released by the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project suggest that President Joe Biden shared classified information with his memoir ghostwriter before his 2020 election. The recordings, totaling about three hours and accompanied by 117 pages of redacted transcripts, were obtained after a legal battle over privacy rights.

Biden, then vice president, was recorded discussing sensitive foreign policy matters with biographer Mark Lewis Zwonitzer, including remarks made in October 2016. In one instance, Biden mentioned discovering classified documents at his residence, saying he had found classified materials
