MEMA to open five disaster centers in four Mississippi counties

The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency said it will open five disaster service centers at noon Aug. 18 to help residents who suffered damage during Tropical Storm Arthur in June, WJTV reported.

Homeowners and renters can meet face-to-face with recovery specialists to check application statuses, apply for aid and connect with local resources, MEMA said, according to WJTV.

The centers will open in four Mississippi counties, MEMA said, WJTV reported.
