Mississippi launches Joint Task Force Vigilance to fight fraud

Mississippi launched Joint Task Force Vigilance on Oct. 6, 2026, to fight fraud, protect taxpayers and restore law and order.

WJTV reported Attorney General Lynn Fitch (R-Miss.) and federal leaders announced the creation of the task force on Oct. 6.

According to WJTV, officials said the task force will help fight fraud and protect taxpayers in the state.
