Mississippi State Heads to SEC Tournament, Faces Pitching Decisions for Postseason

Mississippi State heads to Hoover for the Southeastern Conference (SEC) tournament and is expected to host an NCAA regional next weekend in Starkville, analysts Brian Hadad, Carlo Barone and Brooks Bryan said.

The analysts said coach Brian O’Connor faces decisions about how to deploy his pitching staff during the SEC tournament to prepare for the regional.

Hadad, Barone and Bryan examined the options available to O’Connor and outlined the choices he must make for the week ahead, they said.

The analysts added that those decisions will shape Mississippi State’s approach in Hoover and its readiness for the postseason regional in Starkville.
